It appears Google is rolling out mobile web applications.  Below is a picture I snapped from my phone of the new google reader app.  It includes a new menu bar at the top. There’s a small menu bar and extended menu bar displaying a larger list of google apps.

This is an interesting change making google mobile apps easier to use and more accessible. It will be interesting to see what else google is rolling out as it makes sweeping changes to its apps (google+, gmail people widget). I like the change, hopefully it is here to stay.  Google is constantly tweaking these applications.
